In the depths of the unknown, one often seeks to find their identity. Sometimes, to find oneself, you must hide within your own shadows. Life is a tapestry woven with experiences, discoveries, and indulgences. There are certain moments in life, certain fragments of time, that are unforgettable, like my journey to Qingyuan, China.
MIG ALPHA orchestrated a remarkable and fruitful expedition to China. For me, the main attraction of this journey was the exhilarating sport of water drifting, but the glass bridge was equally magnificent. Viewing the engineering and architecture of the bridge from outside exceeded my expectations. While on the bridge, I witnessed many tourists, both scared and mesmerized. I thought to myself that it would be fascinating to have the opportunity to bungee jump from there.
In the evening, the colorful lights and water fountains on the bridge created a delightful and thrilling spectacle. Accommodation, buffet breakfast, lunches and dinner were all splendid.
This was my fourth trip to China, but in terms of overall experience, I rank this journey first. Among the events that captivated me the most on this journey was the water drifting adventure, which was similar to rafting but with a heightened sense of safety.
Safety measures were well in place, with life jackets and safety helmets being worn for water drifting. Getting on the boat was an exciting experience in itself, as it required careful preparation and anticipation.
I was accompanied by a sister from MIG ALPHA, and she was slightly apprehensive. Even the first bump was enough to create such an intense experience that it left no room for any thoughts. The thrill of this adventurous sport, covering a distance of nearly one kilometer, provided a unique feeling in life.
Looking beyond political biases and focusing on development, one cannot help but admire China. The concept they have created in such wilderness provides thousands of jobs, and the development in local areas is evident.
Such initiatives, when emulated by developing countries like ours [Nepal], can lead to remarkable progress and transformation.
