IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL TRAVELLERS AND CLIENTS
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking any tour, visa service, membership, or other product offered by MIG ALPHA. By engaging our services, making a payment, or signing a booking form, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions are issued in compliance with the Travel Agents Ordinance (Cap. 218), the requirements of the Travel Industry Authority (TIA) of Hong Kong, and all applicable Hong Kong consumer protection legislation.
1. ABOUT US AND REGULATORY STATUS
MIG ALPHA is the trading name of Alpha Travel (HK) Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong and licensed as a travel agent under the Travel Agents Ordinance (Cap. 218).

MIG ALPHA operates as a global mobility movement with the mission of elevating passport value, diaspora empowerment, and dignified travel for Nepali citizens and the broader ethnic minority and expatriate communities of Hong Kong and beyond. Founded in 2009, we have mobilised over 15,000 travellers across 24+ international markets.
2. SCOPE OF SERVICES
MIG ALPHA provides the following services, each subject to these Terms and Conditions:
Outbound Group Tours: curated group travel packages across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Oceania, and the Americas.
Custom and VIP Tours: bespoke itinerary planning and private chauffeured experiences.
Visa Processing Services: document preparation, application assistance, and consular liaison for 15+ destination countries.
Air Ticketing: Nepal air tickets and international flights where included as part of a package.
MIG ALPHA Loyalty Membership Program: tiered membership offering Miles and travel discounts.
Founder's Circle: a limited-seat premium lifetime membership product (maximum 100 seats).
Travel Consultation and AI-Powered Assistant: advisory services and AI tools available on our website.
MIG ALPHA acts as a licensed travel agent and intermediary. We are not the principal supplier of flights, hotels, cruise lines, or third-party ground services. The terms and conditions of those third-party suppliers also apply and will be made available upon request.
3. BOOKINGS AND PAYMENTS
3.1 Booking Confirmation
A booking is only confirmed upon receipt of a deposit or full payment as specified at the time of purchase, and upon issuance of a written booking confirmation by MIG ALPHA. Verbal commitments or WhatsApp acknowledgements alone do not constitute a confirmed booking.
3.2 Deposit and Balance
Unless otherwise stated at the time of booking:
A non-refundable deposit (amount specified per package) is required to secure your place.
The remaining balance is due no later than 30 days prior to departure for international tours, or 7 days prior for China and day tours.
Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking without refund of the deposit.
3.3 Accepted Payment Methods
MIG ALPHA accepts payment by cash, bank transfer, FPS, online by card and other methods confirmed in writing at the time of booking. All prices are quoted in Hong Kong Dollars (HKD) unless otherwise stated.
3.4 Price Adjustment
MIG ALPHA reserves the right to adjust tour prices prior to booking confirmation due to fluctuations in fuel surcharges, airline taxes, exchange rates, or government-imposed levies. Once a booking is confirmed and deposit paid, the price is locked, except where third-party suppliers impose mandatory surcharges beyond our control.
3.5 Minimum Participant Numbers
All group tours are subject to a minimum number of participants. If the minimum is not reached, MIG ALPHA reserves the right to cancel the tour with a full refund of all monies paid, or offer an alternative departure. No compensation beyond the refund will be payable.
3.6 TIA Passenger Protection
In accordance with the requirements of the Travel Industry Authority (TIA) of Hong Kong, all outbound package tour bookings made with MIG ALPHA are subject to the TIA's passenger protection scheme. Details of your rights are available at www.tia.org.hk.
4. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
4.1 Cancellation by the Traveller
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info@migalpha.com. The following cancellation schedule applies unless specific package terms state otherwise:
More than 45 days before departure: No charge, full refunds
30 to 44 days before departure: 30% of total tour cost
15 to 29 days before departure: 50% of total tour cost
7 to 14 days before departure: 75% of total tour cost
Less than 7 days before departure or no-show: 100% of total tour cost
IMPORTANT
Deposits when applicable are non-refundable under all circumstances. Flight and hotel components are subject to the cancellation policies of the respective airlines and hotels, which may differ from the above schedule and may involve total non-refundability.
4.2 Cancellation by MIG ALPHA
MIG ALPHA reserves the right to cancel any tour due to insufficient bookings, force majeure events (including natural disasters, pandemics, war, or government travel advisories), or operational reasons. In such cases, a full refund of monies paid directly to MIG ALPHA will be provided. MIG ALPHA will not be liable for any consequential losses including independently arranged flights, hotels, or visas.
4.3 Amendment Fees
Changes to a confirmed booking are subject to an administrative fee of HK$300 per amendment, plus any charges levied by airlines or hotels. MIG ALPHA will endeavour to accommodate amendments but cannot guarantee availability.
4.4 No Refund on Unused Services
No refunds will be given for unused portions of a tour, including meals, excursions, or accommodation, whether due to late arrival, early departure, illness, or personal choice.
4.5 Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 45 business days of written confirmation of eligibility. Refunds will be returned via the original payment method where practicable.
5. VISA SERVICES
5.1 Service Scope
MIG ALPHA provides visa application assistance, including document checking, form preparation, and submission to the relevant consulate or immigration authority on behalf of the applicant. MIG ALPHA does not guarantee the outcome of any visa application. Final decisions rest solely with the issuing authority.
5.2 No Guarantee of Visa Approval
MIG ALPHA maintains a documented high visa approval rate through rigorous compliance and consular advocacy. However, no representation or warranty is made that any individual application will be approved. Past approval rates do not guarantee future results.
5.3 Fees Upon Rejection
Government-paid consular fees are non-refundable under any circumstances, as these are collected by and remitted to the issuing authority.
MIG ALPHA's service fee is non-refundable once the application has been submitted to the consulate.
If a tour package was booked in conjunction with a visa application, standard cancellation fees (Section 4.1) apply unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5.4 Applicant's Responsibility
The applicant is solely responsible for the accuracy and authenticity of all documents submitted. MIG ALPHA shall not be held liable for rejections arising from incomplete, inaccurate, or fraudulent documentation. Submission of false documentation to a foreign consulate may constitute a criminal offence under the laws of the relevant jurisdiction.
5.5 Processing Times
Processing times (typically 3 to 45 business days depending on destination) are estimates subject to consular workloads and public holidays. Express processing is offered where available but cannot be guaranteed.
6. LOYALTY PROGRAM AND MIG ALPHA MILES
6.1 Program Overview
The MIG ALPHA Loyalty Program offers four paid membership tiers (Essential, Explorer, Voyager, and Founder's Circle) plus a complimentary Tier-0 (Traveller) assigned automatically upon first confirmed booking.
6.2 Nature of MIG ALPHA Miles
MIG ALPHA Miles are loyalty credits redeemable against MIG ALPHA services only. They are not cash, not financial instruments, not transferable to another person, and not refundable under any circumstances. Earned miles (accrued through bookings) and purchased miles are tracked in separate pools and cannot be combined.

- Earn 0.60% MIG ALPHA Miles per HK$ spent

- 48-hour early access on new departures and flash sales
- Redeem up to 25% of purchased miles balance per booking
- Priority support access
Voyager - HK$5,000
- Earn 0.78% MIG ALPHA Miles per HK$ spent
- 5% discount on Tour and Visa services
- 72-hour early access on new departures and flash sales
- Redeem up to 25% of purchased miles balance per booking
- Super-priority support access
Founder's Circle - HK$25,000 (Limited to 100 Seats)
- Earn 1% MIG ALPHA Miles per HK$ spent
- 12% discount on Tour and Visa services
- One-time free visa processing (selected countries)
- 1-week early access on new departures and flash sales
- Redeem up to 25% of purchased miles balance or 50% of tour price, whichever is lower, per booking
- Monthly life-elevating masterclasses
- Priority support from MIG ALPHA executives
- Optional 12-month Miles Lock-In with 8% Bonus Miles: see Section 7.2
6.4 Redemption Rules
Traveller (Tier-0): Earned miles accumulate toward lifetime tier progression but are not redeemable until upgrade to a paid tier.
Essential, Explorer, Voyager: Redeem up to 25% of purchased miles balance per booking.
Founder's Circle: Redeem up to 25% of purchased miles balance or 50% of tour price, whichever is lower, per booking.
6.5 Membership Validity
Essential, Explorer, and Voyager memberships are valid for 12 months from activation and are renewable at the prevailing rate. Benefits expire upon non-renewal. Membership discounts apply to Tour and Visa services only, and not to airline tickets, hotel-only bookings, or other excluded products.
6.6 Program Amendments
MIG ALPHA reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the loyalty program upon 30 days' written notice to active members. Miles accrued prior to any change will be honoured under the terms applicable at the time of accrual.
7. FOUNDER'S CIRCLE
REGULATORY NOTE
The Founder's Circle is a consumer travel loyalty membership product. It is not a deposit-taking product, a collective investment scheme, a financial instrument, or a security as defined under the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Cap. 571) or the Banking Ordinance (Cap. 155) of Hong Kong.
7.1 Nature of the Product
The Founder's Circle is a premium lifetime membership tier priced at HK$25,000, limited to a maximum of 100 seats. It confers travel discounts, loyalty miles, early-access privileges, a one-time free visa processing benefit for selected countries, monthly life-elevating masterclasses, and priority executive support. The fee paid constitutes consideration for membership benefits only.
7.2 Optional Miles Lock-In and Bonus Miles
Founder's Circle members may optionally elect to lock their purchased MIG ALPHA Miles for a 12-month period. This lock-in is voluntary, not mandatory. Upon activation of the lock-in:
An 8% Bonus Miles uplift will be added to the member's total miles balance.
Locked purchased miles cannot be redeemed during the 12-month lock-in period.
Earned miles accrued through bookings during the lock-in period are not subject to the lock-in and remain redeemable.
All Founder's Circle membership discounts and benefits remain fully active throughout the lock-in period.
The decision to lock in miles is irrevocable for the duration of the 12-month period.
Members who do not elect the lock-in option may redeem their purchased miles at any time in accordance with the redemption limits in Section 6.4.
7.3 Seat Availability
Founder's Circle membership is limited to 100 seats on a first-paid, first-confirmed basis. MIG ALPHA reserves the right to verify payment and eligibility before confirming a seat. Once all seats are filled, no further applications will be accepted.
7.4 Non-Transferability
Founder's Circle membership is personal and non-transferable. The Lifetime Founder badge is linked to the individual member's account and cannot be sold, assigned, or gifted.
7.5 Refund Policy
Founder's Circle membership fees are refundable after 12 month period once the seat is confirmed and activated.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND DISCLAIMERS
8.1 General Limitation
To the fullest extent permitted by Hong Kong law, MIG ALPHA's total liability to any traveller or client shall not exceed the amount paid by that client to MIG ALPHA for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
8.2 Third-Party Suppliers
MIG ALPHA acts as an agent for airlines, hotels, cruise operators, ground transport providers, and other third parties. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or defaults of third-party suppliers. Travellers may have direct contractual rights against such suppliers under their own terms.
8.3 Force Majeure
MIG ALPHA shall not be liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemic or epidemic, war, civil unrest, government travel advisories, strikes, or acts of terrorism.
8.4 Travel Insurance
MIG ALPHA strongly recommends that all travellers obtain comprehensive travel insurance prior to departure, covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, evacuation, and baggage loss. MIG ALPHA does not provide travel insurance and accepts no liability for losses that would have been covered by appropriate insurance.
8.5 Health and Medical
Travellers are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit for travel, for obtaining necessary vaccinations, and for complying with all health regulations of destination countries.
9. TRAVELLER RESPONSIBILITIES
All travellers must hold a valid passport with a minimum of 6 months' validity beyond the intended return date.
Travellers are responsible for obtaining all required visas, entry permits, and health documentation for destination countries.
Travellers must comply with all laws and regulations of countries visited, including customs, immigration, and quarantine requirements.
MIG ALPHA reserves the right to remove any traveller from a tour whose behaviour poses a risk to the safety or enjoyment of others. No refund will be provided in such circumstances.
Travellers with dietary, medical, or mobility requirements must notify MIG ALPHA in writing at the time of booking.
Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian unless prior written arrangement has been made with MIG ALPHA.
10. AI TRAVEL ASSISTANT
MIG ALPHA's website features an AI-powered Travel Assistant for informational purposes only. It does not constitute a confirmed booking, formal quotation, or legal advice. Responses may not reflect the most current pricing, availability, or visa requirements. All bookings must be confirmed directly with the MIG ALPHA team. MIG ALPHA shall not be liable for any loss arising from reliance on information provided by the AI Assistant.
11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on the MIG ALPHA website, including text, images, logos, tour descriptions, and proprietary cultural frameworks (including Choto Mitho Yatra, Chiya Guf, and Jaau Jau Sathi ho), is the intellectual property of Alpha Travel (HK) Limited or its licensors. Reproduction, distribution, or commercial use without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.
12. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts.
MIG ALPHA is regulated by the Travel Industry Authority (TIA) of Hong Kong under Licence No. 353360. Travellers have the right to lodge complaints with the TIA at www.tia.org.hk or by calling +852 2807 1199.

We aim to acknowledge all written complaints within 3 business days and resolve them within 14 business days. If a resolution cannot be reached, you may escalate the matter to the Travel Industry Authority of Hong Kong.
14. SUPPLEMENTARY WEBSITE NOTICES
14.1 MIG ALPHA Miles and membership
MIG ALPHA Miles are loyalty credits for MIG ALPHA travel and visa services only. They are not cash, not refundable, not transferable, and not investment products, securities, or profit-sharing arrangements. Redemption rules, tier benefits, and expiry follow MIG ALPHA policy and applicable law.
14.2 Pricing and availability
Tour and visa prices, seat counts, and departure dates are subject to change until confirmed in writing. Displayed discounts and early-bird offers apply only when stated in your booking confirmation.
14.3 General
Information on this website is provided for general guidance. MIG ALPHA may update programmes, benefits, and policies without prior notice where permitted by law. For binding terms, refer to your booking documents and our Terms & Conditions.
